Another new sport?

OK, so on Easter Monday I thought we should do a family activity together. We went bowling. My hubby used to bowl with his mom when he was younger. I've only bowled a few times in my life. My daughter (who will be 6 soon) tried it in the summer and has been asking to go again. We had a great time. We're thinking of having a bowling birthday party for her. Another new sport for her to add to her list of interests? We'll see. We didn't go to archery tonight and she was in tears when she found out. Until next time...D.

Lost my mojo

Being sick off & on since October has really knocked me for a loop. I'm not myself. And I'm definitely sick of being sick! How do I fall in love again with my guitar & my camera? D.

Soccer Saturday

Soccer playoffs, otherwise known as Soccer Saturday. My daughter's team played at 9:00am and they won that game so they had to play at 3:00pm in the semi finals. Between the first and second game she also had swimming lessons. The second game ended in sudden death with each team taking 5 penalty shots. I think it was because they didn't allow time in the schedule for overtime. It would have been nice for them to go on to the final match but 3 games in one day (plus swimming) is a little much for a 5 year old! They had a good season and it was nice to place 3rd. She's excited to play in the summer again. The season starts May 26th.

Design Team Update

Well, my head shot was taken last Friday. Another snow storm cancelled the store's midnight crop this past Friday but I managed to work on my "All About Me" page this weekend. It's almost finished--the final touch would be the head shot! I will be dropping it off in the store soon. Check out All About Scrapbooks on blogger. Until next time...D.

Excited

So excited. Our 1st assignment is an All About Me layout. I've been wanting to do one and never have. So here I go! I got to pick out some papers that "reflect me". This is going to be fun!!

Stopped in at the store & found out what we're doing this month. Tomorrow night I'll be getting my headshot taken. Blah! But it has to be done.
